ABOUT US

Child Regional Education Support Services (CRESS) is a nonprofit organization which was registered as a Community Based Organization in 2011. It covers the three slums of Nairobi; Mathare Valley, Korogocho and Gomongo.

A group of like-minded individuals came together in 2011 to form CRESS; an organization they believed would help shape the future of young generations.

CRESS empowers the community through various interventions by providing Educational Support Services, books and other basic learning materials, sanitary pads, desks, organize Environmental Activities and creates HIV/AIDS Awareness in schools.

MISSION

Make formal education accesible to the underprivileged regardless of their religion, race or ethnicity.

HOW TO GET INVOLVED

You can volunteer your time and money. You can either come and spend your time with the children, counseling and playing with them or you can send the little penny you have so that they can access learning materials, sanitary pads, and meals. You can donate materials e. g clothes, computers, books, desks, uniforms, paints sewing machines etc.

International volunteers/interns are welcome to spend their time with the children during their stay in Kenya. We are sure you will enjoy every bit of it.
