SAFARI ADVENTURE IN KENYA: – FULL ITINERARY  (price is in Euros!)


DAY 1 :  NAIROBI
Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and you will be received by our representative,
transfer to Boulevard Hotel for dinner and overnight.

DAY 2: NAIROBI – NANYUKI
Depart from the hustle and bustle of Nairobi at 7.30am, heading north through Thika Town, Karatina town, to arrive in Sangare Tented Camp at 11.30am Relax while waiting for lunch, After lunch depart for game drives in Sangare Ranch, where you will be able to see waterbucks, Giraffes, Zebras, Eland, warthog, Buffalos, Monkeys, and other species
for dinner and overnight at Sangare Tented Camp.

DAY 3: NANYUKI – SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE
After Morning breakfast, depart at 7.00am towards north, crossing the equator, before reaching the market town of Nanyuki.  Founded in 1907 by English settlers, Nanyuki is home to the main base of Kenya’s Air Force.  It’s popular amongst tourists because of its proximity to impressive Mount Kenya, Kenya’s highest peak at 5199 m.  It’s also home to the Mount Kenya Safari Club, now a hotel, but in the 1960’s an exclusive club whose members included Winston Churchill, Bing Crosby and Bob Hope and also its 15 kilometers to the famous ol pajeta conservancy which is the home of all the big five and other species and also the world chimpanzees sanctuary Leaving this old frontier town, the Clients will head north-west through the Kikuyu area around Mt Kenya to the Samburu National Reserve where it will encounter the Masai’s distant relatives, the semi-nomadic proud Samburu, tending their cattle along the way.  The Samburu National Reserve is a relatively small reserve at just 104 km2, remote and hence unspoilt, which attracts a wide range of animals because of the Ewaso Nyiro River (brown water) that runs through it. Check in at Ashnil Tented Camp Samburu for lunch, after lunch, depart for game drives for the whole of the afternoon
for dinner and overnight at Ashnil tented Camp Samburu.

DAY 4: SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE
The Samburu National Reserve is made up of a mixture of scrub, desert and open Savannah plains interspersed with small rugged hills.  It is home to most of the Big 5 (except the rhino, which has been decimated by poachers).  What makes this reserve unique is its populations of Gravy’s Zebra, Beisa Oryx, Reticulated Giraffe and Somali Ostrich and the day will be spent searching for these unique animals. Also we have the Buffalos, Elephant, Leopard and the lion.

DAY 5: SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE – SWEET WATERS
After morning breakfast at 7.30am depart to sweet waters game reserve to arrive at 10.00am. And proceed for game drives for the whole morning. This is a chimpanzee sanctuary and lies in the heart of 24,000 acres. It has magnificent views across the plains to the snow capped peaks of Mount Kenya; this offers excellent and scheduled game viewing rarely available anywhere. The following animals are found in this reserve they include: giraffes, zebras, elephants, buffalos, lions, leopards, rhinos and chimpanzees.
For all meals and overnight stay at Sweetwater’s Tented Camp.

DAY 6: SWEET WATERS
Spend the whole day viewing animals and doing game drives in sweet waters the olpajeta conservancy.

DAY 7: SWEET WATERS – NANYUKI – ABERDARES NATIONAL PARK
After morning breakfast, depart at 8.30am to Aberdares national park for game viewing from the Hotel Balcony. Check in at Outspan Hotel at 11.30am, Relax waiting to have lunch, later at 2pm, transfer to treetops Hotel for game viewing; the park is home to rare species, the Bongo antelope which is only found in this National park. There are also other species to be found in this park. This is the place where Queen Elizabeth of Great Britain was made a queen as she was staying at the famous tree top Hotel which is also located in the park.
For dinner and overnight at Treetops Hotel Aberdares.

DAY 8: ABERDARE NATIONAL PARK – NAKURU
Depart after morning breakfast the unique Aberdare National park to have full breakfast at Outspan Hotel Nyeri, Depart through Thomson falls which is the highest water fall in Kenya. The Clients will head west towards the Great Rift Valley and Nakuru, the fourth largest town in Kenya and the capital of the Rift Valley Province, where a stop will be made to buy a soveniour before entering Lake Nakuru National Park. Arrive at flamingo hill camp in time for lunch. After lunch depart for game drives
for dinner and overnight stay at Flamingo Hill Camp.

DAY 9: LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK
The day clients will spend the day in the Lake Nakuru National Park, famous for the thousands of lesser and greater flamingos that flock to this soda lake’s edge. The numbers vary depending on the water level, and when it’s low, the lake almost turns pink.  A truly spectacular sight!  The park was established as a sanctuary for black and white rhino, which are often seen.  The day is spent searching for these pre-historic looking beasts as well as the elusive leopard, encountering buffalo, giraffe, various antelope and the occasional hippo along the way. Also the park is the only one which hosts the Tree climbing Lions.

DAY 10: LAKE NAKURU – MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE
Depart from Lake Nakuru and entering Maasai land where these habitual pastoralists are often seen tending their cattle from the side of the road.  After passing through the town of Narok the clients will arrive at Ilkilian Tented Camp Maasai Mara in time for Lunch, after lunch depart in the afternoon for game drives
for dinner and overnight stay at Ilkiliani Tented Camp Maasai Mara National Reserve.

DAY 11: MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE
The day is spent driving through nature as it was intended to be – huge plains, rolling hills and an abundance of game matched nowhere else on earth.  Eyes should be kept open for the Big 5 – elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion and leopard.  If travelling between July and October, it may be possible to witness the impressive herds of over one million wildebeest, zebra and Thomson’s gazelle in their Annual Migration.  Sitting around the camp fire, watching the sun set is the perfect way to finish a day’s game viewing in this “Garden of Eden.”

Day 12: MASAI MARA – NAIROBI – AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK
Depart Maasai Mara National Reserve at 7.00am to Amboseli National Park to arrive in Nairobi
At 12.00 noon, Have Lunch in Nairobi City, Later depart Nairobi to Amboseli at 1.30pm arriving
In Amboseli National Park at around 5.30pm,
have dinner and overnight stay at Sentrim Tented Camp Amboseli National Park.

DAY 13: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK-
Have early morning game drives at 6.00am later get back in the camp for breakfast at 9.00am. Relax in the camp for the rest of the morning hours waiting for lunch, later after lunch at 2.30pm depart for more game drives till 6.00pm.the Park is the best place in the world to view the Elephants. Also the park has the best views in the world to view Mt. Kilimanjaro. This park is the home to the big five and it has other attractions such as:
• Observation Hills,Mt. Kilimanjaro, Observation Hills, Lake Jipe,Lake Amboseli, Dams i.e. OlKenya, Etuikui and ElKongonarok and etc.
Dinner and overnight stay at Sentrim Tented Camp Amboseli.

DAY 14: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK – TSAVO WEST NATIONAL PARK.
Depart early morning after breakfast to Tsavo West to Arrive in Tsavo National Park in time for
Lunch at Ngulia Safari Camp.; later in the afternoon at 3pm depart for game drives. Tsavo West National Park has a Long history back to 1896 when the Kenya- Uganda Railway was under construction, ‘’Man Eaters Lions’’ were killing many Railway workers. Also the park has many other animals and other attractions include: Fish Sanctuary, Mzima Springs, Shetani Lava Flow, Chyulu Hills, and Ngulia Escarpment and many more.
Have dinner and overnight stay at Ngulia Safari Camp. Tsavo West.

DAY 15: TSAVO WEST NATIONAL PARK
Have early morning game drives till 9.00am later have late breakfast, the whole day is meant for exploring various place in this Massive and the second biggest National Park in Kenya, enjoy the day in Tsavo West National Park.
Have all meals and overnight stay at Ngulia Safari Camp,

DAY 16: TSAVO WEST – TSAVO EAST NATIONAL PARK
After morning breakfast depart to Tsavo East National Park, to arrive before lunch. Later do game drive in the park. Tsavo East National is the biggest National Park in Kenya It’s a plain vegetation also forms part of the biggest park with 11,747 sq.kms. The Park has many interesting features from vegetations, Wildlife and Sceneries. The Park has Eden Elephants, Great Game viewing of many Animals species.
Among the Highlights are: Aruba Dam lies at north banks of river Voi and is visited by many animals which makes it one of the greatest game viewing.  Also another exciting attraction is Mudanda Rock which is one of the biggest rocks in the world, the Spectacular Lugard’s fall and many more.
Have all meals and overnight stay at Sentrim Tented Camp,

DAY 17: TSAVO EAST
After morning breakfast spend the whole day doing game drives in Tsavo East national park,
Climbing the rocks and enjoying the beautiful sceneries and features.
Have all meals and overnight stay at Sentrim Tented Camp.

DAY 18 – TSAVO EAST NATIONAL PARK TO NAIROBI.
After breakfast, the clients will leave Tsavo East National Park; Have lunch on the way to Nairobi and return to Nairobi, arriving in the late afternoon. For your flight back home. Having just experienced a trip of a lifetime!
