Named after an East African hardwood tree, the name “mvuli” is derived from the Swahili word “Kivuli” which means shade. Mvuli is a drought-tolerant tree so named for the shelter it provided Indian railway construction workers working on the Kenya-Uganda railway, providing refreshing relief from the blistering tropical sun. Our dedicated outside catering team delivers the “Mvuli Hotels” experience where you are, should you opt to hold your event or meeting away from the Hotel. We also do office deliveries of our Business lunch but only for a group of atleast 10 people!
